Setting a Date

Have you ever been set for a blind date? My friends are actually encouraging and used to set me up for a blind date. Actually, i never attended any of those dates except last month because they really forced me to. The date turned out great and the girl I met was really friendly and cute. I never met her prior to our date and I have no idea about her actually. Well, I'm happy that we're friends now but I don't think i can extend our relationship much further especially now that I've heard that she's now dating someone. That's pretty fine with me and on the first place, I am really not in to this Blind date thing. For me, it is very important to know the person first before inviting her for a date. I took date as a serious matter. If I am going to date someone, then I want to make sure that she's the one that I am going to be with forever.
Actually, I preferred those dating website other than setting me up for a date to someone I am not familiar with. Dating websites will allow you to make your own profile, and meet other people online. Of course, most of this people are singles because they will not be on that site on the first place if they're already committed to someone right? Interestingly, most of them are free dating websites which offer a lot of wonderful features like chat, video calls and a whole lot more. I have friends who have met their partner online and this could also be my chance. Who knows right? The right girl is probably waiting for me on the other side of the cyber world. Cool.

How Technology Changed the Way we Communicate

It is very interesting to know how much improvement technology does in the way we communicate. Remember those days where people are communicating to each other through mails and telephone? I remember my mom keep on telling me how my dad get in touch with her despite of their long distance relationship during their teenage years. Pen pal is quite popular back then where both lovers will write down series of letters to each other and mail it directly to their addresses. Same thing goes with the so-called "Phone Pal". As what the term suggest, both lovers will try to get in touch with each other via phone calls. Usually, they spend huge amount of time over the phone chit chatting about everything.
Nowadays, we are so lucky that technology brought us some innovative ways on how to communicate to each other. We now have cellular phones that allows us to call or send text massages to each other no matter where we are. On top of that, we can now also use the Internet to communicate in a much easier way. In fact, dating has made easier through Internet.

It's Time for A Change

An invitation came to me by surprise a week ago. My cousin will be getting married this coming September and I am not expecting that it will happen very soon. It seems that it was just yesterday when he broke up with his long term girlfriend and asking for my advice and then all of the sudden, here comes a letter inviting me to attend his wedding. Time runs out so fast indeed and we can never tell what will happen the day after today.
Anyway, I am so happy for this wonderful news brought by my cousin and I wish all the best and success for him and for his wife to .
I seldom share my personal life here but to be honest, I would like to experience the same thing as my cousin. You can't just blame me for dreaming of such thing because I am just a simple guy and I am not getting any younger as well. I know for the fact that the time will come that I am going to marry a girl and I'm going to spend my lifetime with her.
I have to admit that my last relationship didn’t work well and after that, i decided not to enter any relationship yet and focus more on my other responsibilities. I am the breadwinner in my family and I am responsible for taking care of my parents and my siblings. But I guess I've done great enough for them and it's time for me to prioritize my personal life. Actually some of my friends are setting me up on some blind dates but i keep on refusing them because i would rather go with online dating service than meeting someone immediately without any knowledge about her. That’s one of the advantages of online dating sites. Aside from giving you opportunity to meet other people online, it gives you a chance to know them deeper. http://www.freedatingsiteforwoman.com/ for an instance is a nice website to begin with for women who are aiming to meet new friends or companions online.
